Frequently asked questions

Is your coffee ethically sourced?

Yes. As a speciality coffee roaster, ethical sourcing is fundamental to what we do. It's part of the speciality standard itself.

Speciality coffee requires full traceability and guarantees that farmers are paid fairly for exceptional quality.

How much does shipping cost?

All orders will be dispatched within 3 business days or sooner. Coffee will be dispatched within 7 days of roast date, because fresher is better.

We work with numerous shipping providers to get your order to you as fast as possible. This is usually within 3 business days. Full tracking will be sent to you via email.

If you have any issues at all, please do get in touch.

What is the return policy?

We want every customer to be totally satisfied. If something's not right, get in touch and we'll do our best to make it right.

Coffee & perishables — As a food product, we can't accept returns if your order has arrived as described and in good condition. If your order is damaged or not as described, let us know upon receipt and we'll offer a full refund or exchange.

Non-perishables — Unused items in original packaging can be returned within 14 days. If an item is damaged or faulty, we'll offer a full refund. Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility and are non-refundable.

How do I store my coffee?

Store your coffee in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture. Keep it in an airtight container or reseal the bag tightly after each use. Avoid the fridge or freezer — the fluctuating temperatures and moisture can harm the flavour.

Keep it simple, the bags we deliver in are best for storing your coffee, you don't need to transfer it.

For the best cup, grind just before brewing and aim to use your coffee within 6 months of the roast date, but this is fresh produce, so it's better fresher.
